Both Kent & Greg were born and raised in West Virginia. In fact, their birthdays are only 5 days apart! Their paths eventually crossed in middle school where their friendship began.

Kent went on to become a life-long entrepreneur, starting several businesses in real estate development and commercial logistics.

Greg spent 25 years in the U.S. Air Force as a helicopter pilot after graduating from West Virginia University. He then owned and operated several businesses in West Virginia.

In 2022, Kent proposed the idea of a commercial garlic farm on his newly purchased property and Greg was excited to join him in this new adventure. This was the beginning of KG Farms.

They agreed to provide the best naturally-grown, garlic on the market, and with that planted their first crop of hard neck and soft neck garlic in the Fall of 2022.

KG Farms is located 10 miles outside beautiful Lewisburg, WV and near The Greenbrier resort.
